so uh. Hollow Knight: Together has a release date now.
NOVEMBER 18TH.
yep.
I have officially put a date on it which means I can no longer say "it'll release when it's done" and then disappear into a cave for 6 months.
The game is getting REALLY close. I've been working on new areas, bosses, charms, polishing old stuff, fixing ancient code that should probably be studied by scientists, and generally trying to turn HKT into an actual finished game instead of a project that lives permanently on my computer.
There's still stuff to finish, obviously. I'm not gonna pretend the game magically became complete because I typed a date into a blog post lol.
But I'm at the point where I feel comfortable saying:
HKT IS COMING OUT NOVEMBER 18TH.
The goal between now and then is basically just:
finish the remaining content.
fix shit.
test shit.
fix the shit that broke while fixing the other shit.
and then RELEASE IT.
I'm really excited to finally get this thing out. HKT has existed in some form for a WHILE now, and it's changed a ridiculous amount since I first started working on it.
So yeah.
